This section outlines guidelines for using our establishment and equipment at Oh Wow Cleaners (“we” or “our”). By entering our premises and utilizing our machines, you agree to comply with the following:
Machine Usage:
Instructions: Before using our washer/dryer machines, carefully follow provided instructions to avoid damage. For delicate items or special fabrics, use at your own risk. If you need assistance, please ask our laundromat attendants, as they have experience washing clothes and may better assist you. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service.
Inspection: Check machines for any items left inside before operation to prevent damage to your laundry and equipment.
Assistance: Seek help from our laundry attendants if unsure how to operate our machines.
Interruptions: We reserve the right to halt operations to prevent damage.
Reporting Issues: Immediately report any malfunctioning equipment or spills to our attendants. Our facility is open 24 hours, but laundry attendants are only available Monday – Sunday, 6 AM – 10 PM.
Food and Drinks:
Disposal: Dispose of food wrappers, bottles, and other items in designated bins to prevent obstruction and machine contamination.
Consumption Areas: Please consume food and drinks only in designated areas to maintain a clean environment. Keep spills from happening to prevent accidents and avoid making messes that attract rodents and pests.
Spills: Clean up spills immediately to prevent accidents. If you see a spill, report it right away to prevent accidents.
Lost or Stolen Laundry:
Responsibility: We are not responsible for lost or stolen clothes. Immediately report any missing items to our attendants or email us at info@ohwowcleaners.com. We will review security camera footage and investigate. Please do not leave clothes unattended in the machine for more than 10 minutes; your clothes may be removed and placed in a cart.
Minors:
Supervision: Minors under 18 must be supervised and are prohibited from unsupervised machine use. We are not liable for any injuries or damages resulting from negligence or lack of supervision on your part.
Additional Rules: Ensure young children who cannot use the machines properly are supervised by a parent or guardian. Do not put children in carts, allow running or playing, or permit them to enter machines. We are not liable for any harm or injury.
Footwear:
Loading Recommendations: Please avoid loading heavy or material-intensive footwear (e.g., boots, rubber, leather) to prevent equipment damage.
Special Bags: Heavier footwear can be loaded when using a special net bag with a zipper to prevent banging against the machines. These special bags are available for purchase at our facility if needed.
Physical Violence and Verbal Threats:
Prohibition: Physical violence and verbal threats are strictly prohibited on our premises. Offenders will be asked to leave, and law enforcement may be involved in extreme cases.
Reporting: Report any incidents of violence or threats to our staff immediately. We will document all threats and contact the authorities if necessary. We strive to avoid these incidents using positive language and conflict resolution.

Refund Policy:
Refunds are issued when indicated and applicable. For putting money in the wrong machine, you will receive a refund the first time. If it happens again, you must wait 24-48 hours for us to review camera footage. If a machine is not working, switch to another machine and get a refund on the spot. General Conduct:
Respectful Behavior: Please treat staff and other customers with respect and courtesy.
Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness in all areas, return any reading materials or provided amenities to their proper places.
Use of Amenities: Use provided amenities, like Wi-Fi or entertainment areas, responsibly and legally.
Liability:
Damage to Property: We are not liable for any damage caused to personal items during the washing/drying process unless due to proven negligence on our part. This includes damage to delicate fabrics, special garments, or items not suitable for machine washing.
Personal Belongings: Ensure all personal belongings are accounted for before leaving the premises. We are not responsible for items left behind.
